Vic Petrovich – Partner
Vic graduated from the University of Sydney and was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1991 and as a Solicitor of the High Court of Australia in 2003.
Vic practiced as a solicitor for a number of high-profile Sydney law firms and also worked in the insurance industry as a claims manager specialising in a broad range of CTP – Motor Accident matters including catastrophic claims.
In 2003, Vic established NSW Compensation Lawyers, and as the Managing Partner has taken a leading and active role in pursuing the claims of injured workers/claimants within the current legislative framework.
Anthony Macri – Partner
Anthony completed a combined Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours, and in 2002 was a University Medal recipient.
He was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in 2003 and a Solicitor of the High Court, entitling him to appear in Federal Courts throughout Australia.
Anthony has previously practised as a barrister and has considerable experience in appearing for injured persons and in pursuing their rights and entitlements. Anthony is a Partner at New South Wales Compensation Lawyers.
Zac Gabriel joined NSW Compensation Lawyers in 2008, bringing with him a wealth of legal experience. His Assyrian heritage and extensive world travel also means he has a working knowledge of countries including Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Turkey and Germany, as well as an understanding of Assyrian and Kurdish cultures.
Zac graduated with an Arts (Political Science) and Law degree in 1991 from the Australian National University in Canberra, and one year later was admitted as a Solicitor. In 1998 Zac obtained a Masters in Law from the University of NSW and has since conducted litigation on behalf of those injured in accidents (work, motor vehicle, public liability and medical negligence).
Michelle studied at the University of Technology, with a combined Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Law. She has studied Maritime Law, Children and the Law as well as Refugee Law and Practice. She has recently graduated and was admitted earlier this year as a Solicitor and member of the Law Society of New South Wales.
Prior to joining NSW Compensation Lawyers, Michelle has had experience in Criminal Law and has worked in the NSW Parliament’s 2011 State election. She has had extensive experience working with people from all different backgrounds and has been expanded this further through her recent travels through Europe and Asia.
Michelle is of Vietnamese heritage and fluent in the language.
Alix has recently graduated with Bachelor of Medical Science and Bachelor of Laws degrees from the University of Wollongong.
She has a vast understanding of medical issues having studied five years of human anatomy and physiology and current medical and health issues. She has a thorough background in the mechanics of injuries arising out of medical negligence, public liability, motor vehicle accidents and workers compensation.
This year she also completed her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and subsequently was admitted as a Solicitor and member of the Law Society of New South Wales.
Kim has completed degrees in Arts and Law at Sydney University and was admitted as a solicitor in 1978.
He has worked as a personal injury lawyer for 35 years in various firms in Sydney and Wollongong. He has also been a personal injury accredited specialist since 1996
Kim has experience in workers compensation, motor accident law and public liability.
Stephen was admitted to practice law in NSW and QLD in 1988 after completing degrees in law and economic at the University of Sydney,
Since his admission and over the past 25 years, he has specialised in personal injury litigation with particular emphasis on motor accident, medical negligence and superannuation claims.
Stephen has practiced in all jurisdictions in NSW including the District Court, Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and High Court of Australia as well as in the Workers Compensation Commission and the Motor Accident Authority. He has also practiced in the District Court and Supreme Courts of QLD and the ACT.
Stephen is an accredited specialist in personal injury and for several years he has sat on the Law Society Specialist Accreditation Board which assesses solicitors for specialist accreditation in personal injury law.
Slobodan completed Bachelor of Arts (Communications) from the University of Wollongong in 2002 and subsequently graduated in law from the University of Sydney in 2008.
Following the graduation, he worked as a legal adviser in South East Asia for 2 years before returning to Australia in 2011.
Slobodan was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia in 2012.Slobodan has experience in Employment, Criminal, Motor Accidents, Workers Compensation and Public Liability law. He is fluent Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian and Macedonian and possesses a basic knowledge of Thai language.
John graduated with a combined Bachelor of Business (Economics and Finance) and Bachelor of Laws in 2003 and was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2004. John has extensive experience in representing injured persons and fighting for their rights and entitlements.
He is an accredited specialist in personal injury law and has handled complex cases in the Claims Assessment Resolution Service, District Court, Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and the High Court of Australia.
John’s experience is wide ranging from public and product liability matters, employer negligence, motor vehicle accident claims, and professional and medical negligence.
